What are the Output Transformer Ohms for the 50 watt amp?
My 50 watt amp has a 4 ohm output transformer.  I use a 4 ohm speaker with my single 12" combo.  In my 2 x 12 cabinets I use a pair of 8 ohm speakers wired parallel to create a 4 ohm load (see tech page to see diagram). Although I do not recommend it the amp seems to function well with an 8 ohm load when you find yourself in that situation.
How do you use the Line Out on your amps? and are they Line Level?
The Line Out jack on my amps were designed to allow you to use my amps in a situation where the rest of the band was playing a bit louder than needed (we have all been there).  Especially with my 15 watt head that sounds so good in breakup but does not have the overhead needed for large clubs.  This is a Line Level output that is after the Output Transformer (any effects you have used will be carried on this signal as well).  When I plug this into a house PA system it gives the same tone through the PA as you get from the amp speaker cabinet.  You can also run these direct to a recording board.  NOTE: YOU MUST ALWAYS USE A SPEAKER LOAD ON THE OUTPUT JACK
Why the Octal (8 pin) pre amp tubes?
The octal or 8 pin tubes were used in the very first Fender Amps (40's) and when the country discovered the 9 pin tubes they switched like everyone else.  The 8 pin preamp tubes do not have as much gain but they have much more pure tone and best of all they are extremely tactile reactive.  By that I mean a guitar or steel player can "Dig In" and the notes literally burst out of the speakers. This  puts much more control in the hands of the player.
What speakers do you recommend with the 50 or the PF 50/50 amp?
For 6 String I recommend the Celestion G12T-75 or the Weber Silver Bell or Blue Dog 100 watt speakers.  I personally like a Celestion and a Weber in a 2 x 12 cabinet.  The Celestion will handle the mids and lows while the Weber handles the higher frequencies.  This makes a nice well balanced tone.  Most of my Steel customers like the Peavey Black Widow 1201 which is a high wattage sound reinforcement speaker.  A pair of 12" 1201's with the PF 50/50 (Twin 50) can handle the volume levels of the "Players" or the big stage with Vince Gill perfectly.  I have one Steel customer that really likes a pair of the Weber 100 watt speakers.  For Recording some of the Steel players like a single 1201 with the 50 watt head (and it is a lot easier to move around.
What 6L6 tubes do you use in the 50 watt amps?

Although there are many good types of 6L6 tubes available I use the CHP 6l6 Groove Tube matched sets that cost me about $40 for a matched set.  These are the black plate models and give me great tone and so far good life.  Reggie Young got a year out of a set of these and he used them so much he literally burned the GT Labels off of them.  I have a set in my personal amp that has over 2 years ln them and they sound as good as the day I put them in.  NOTE: Turn you amp off if you are not using it for 15 minutes or longer.  It only takes 1 minute to warm up,  will probably sound better after it cools off, and your tubes and components will last longer.

Do you ship overseas and if so how do you handle the transformer voltage and cycles?

Our customers pay for their own shipping so we do not mind sending the amp/speaker cabinet to any location that is represented by our carriers.  We have shipped to Australia and Norway where the voltage is in the range of 220 - 240 volts.  These countries also us a 50 cycle electrical system.  I buy the exact Hammond power transformer that I use in my domestic 50 watt amp except the primary is wired for 220/240 volts (and is designed to operate in a 50 cycle environment).   Please feel free to call for more information on this subject.
